Why?

One of the most often asked questions by little children is “Why.”  I bet if I answered that question a hundred times, I answered it a thousand or more.  As an adult, we often asked “Why,” which I consider to be a futile question.  Having said that, there are some answers to the questions, “Why did Jesus leave heaven and come to earth?”  “Why did he chose to die?  “Why did he rise from the grave?” The good news is there are answers to these questions found in God’s word. Let’s see what Luke said about why He came to earth.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke wrote, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10 (KJV)

Today, realize how important you are to Jesus, who came to seek and save you and me; because we were lost from our relationship to Him.
