Wisdom and Understanding

King Solomon was thought to be the wisest of men.  His decisions were renowned throughout the then known world.  People came to see him for justice. From where did he get such wisdom and understanding?  The Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream and told him to ask what he wanted and God would give it to him.  Solomon did not ask for long life or riches and it pleased God who gave him wisdom and understanding.  Do you want wisdom and understanding?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Solomon wrote, “The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding.” Proverbs 9:10 (AMPC)

Today, get into God’s word to learn about Him.  When you get to know Him then you will revere and worship Him.  He will give you wisdom and understanding.
