Unmovable

Have you ever experienced an earthquake?  Our son was in California when there was a large earthquake.  He said it was so scary because the earth was moving beneath his feet.  While we may not have experienced an actual earthquake, we have all had experiences in life that turned our world upside down.  In those situations, what did you do?  Did you become frightened or did you stand your ground?  Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”  (John 16:33) Paul said because Jesus is coming again, we are to be unmovable! 

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”  1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
