Morning Thoughts – Freedom

Freedom

Yesterday, we the people celebrated the birth of freedom in America.
Freedom from forced religion, tyranny, and government control and
freedom to worship and live as we choose. While that freedom does
not seem to be the same as when it was first won and instituted; we
can be assured that we have been called by God to freedom. What is
that freedom for? Paul tells us our freedom in Christ is to be used to
love and serve one another.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For you brethren, were [indeed]
called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your
flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you
should serve one another.” Galatians 5:13 (AMP)

Today, because you are free – love and serve one another.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
