Morning Thoughts – Counsel

Counsel

We are often in need of counsel. To whom do you go for counsel – a friend,
a professional, your pastor, or family? To whom does that person go for
counsel? There are many voices today with various opinions about many
things. While those opinions may be nice, are they Godly? In these days, we
as Christians must measure advice against the word of God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Blessed is the man Who walks
not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in
the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law
he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1:1-2 (NKJV)

Today, pick your counsel carefully and meditate on God’s word.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
