Benefit #2 – Healing (Part 5)

Benefit #2 – Healing (Part 5)

Part 1 – God does NOT lie and He is our healer.

Part 2 – Jesus did only what pleased the Father

Part 3 – Jesus provided healing in His body on the cross.

Part 4 – Salvation encompasses our whole being – physical, emotional and spiritual

When Adam sinned, he fell from that perfect relationship with God, where he lacked nothing.  However, after the fall, death, disease and destruction became a part of man’s life. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one-man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” At the cross, Jesus redeemed mankind to our perfect relationship with God, which included being redeemed from death, disease and destruction.  “Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs [crucified] on a tree (cross)” (Galatians 3:13)  “Therefore, as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” (Romans 5:18) The enemy of our souls was defeated.  Jesus said, “It is finished.”  He completed the work to redeem us to our right standing with God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  Psalm 103:1-5   (KJV)

Today, Bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.  Receive His benefit of healing of all your diseases.  Let God be true. . .
