Ways to Praise

One of the ways to praise God includes the lifting of the hands in
the Sanctuary. Captives lift their hands in surrender. Could it be
the lifting of the hands in the sanctuary is an act of surrender to
our loving, faithful, forgiving, merciful and gracious God? Think
about it.

The Psalmist specifically wrote, “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
and praise the Lord.” Psalm 134:2 (NIV)

Today, in your quiet time, lift your hands in surrender to God.
