Morning Thoughts – Tomorrow

Tomorrow

A line from a famous movie says, “I can’t think about that now.
After all tomorrow is another day.” While the words are true
that tomorrow is another day, none of us has the promise of
tomorrow. What we must do, we must do today. Paul said,
“behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of
salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2b (NIV). Life is so short on this side
of eternity.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Solomon wrote, “Do not boast about
tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.”
Proverbs 27:1 (NIV)

Today is the day of salvation. Do good to those in need and bring glory to God.
