Peculiar People

Have you encountered Peculiar People?  I certainly hope so.  One
of the definitions for peculiar is “different from the usual or normal.”
Are you a peculiar person?  During the sixties, there were people who
were identified a Jesus “freaks.”  They were a part of a counterculture
movement.  They were different from the norm.  As Christians – aren’t
we supposed to be different from the usual or normal?

Peter put it this way. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of
him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)

Today, be the peculiar person and stand up for Jesus.  He stood up for you.
