Morning Thoughts – Thirst

Thirst

Down here in Texas when we have a drought, the ground
develops wide cracks. When we try to water anything, the
water just flows easily and quickly into the cracks. Do you
thirst for the word of God like the land thirsts for water?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “I spread out
my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.”
Psalm 143:6 (NIV)

Today, may you thirst for God as a dry parched land.
