Pay Attention

Parents and teachers often told us to “pay attention.”  On our jobs we have to pay attention to details that could affect the outcome of various tasks.  When we don’t pay attention it is because our thoughts or actions have caused us to drift away.  In our walk with the Lord, we must pay attention to the direction of our life.  It is so easy to drift away from the Lord.  It starts out so innocently and little by little the things of God are not as important or so we think.  The writer of Hebrews cautioned us to pay careful attention to what we have heard about the Lord, so we don’t drift away.
