Benefit #2 – Healing (Part 3)

Benefit #2 – Healing (Part 3)

Part 1 – God does NOT lie and He is our healer.

Part 2 – Jesus did only what pleased the Father

Isaiah looking forward some 700 years said, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”  (Isaiah 53:5)    Peter looking back to the cross said, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24) So Healing was provided by our Lord’s finished work on the Cross.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  Psalm 103:1-5   (KJV)

Today, Bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.  Receive His benefit of healing of all your diseases.  Let God be true. . .
