Chosen and Special
If a family member leaves you with an inheritance, most likely you would feel special. When Peter wrote to the churches in Asia, he wanted them to know not only about their inheritance; but also about their mission. What is that mission? Peter said we are chosen and special and are called to proclaim the praises of God who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. I want to Praise God today because of His healing power. I found out yesterday that my Leukemia is in remission. Praise Him who loves us unconditionally.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Peter wrote, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)
Today, proclaim the praises of God, who loves us and has called us chosen and special.
