Citizenship

Citizenship

Webster defines citizenship as “the qualities that a person is expected
to have as a responsible member of a community.”  If you are a citizen,
then you have responsibilities.  While here on the earth we must conform
to the laws of our country; however, when we give our heart to Jesus, He
begins to transform us to be citizens in Heaven.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For our citizenship is in heaven,
from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who
will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body,
according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to
Himself.”  Philippians 3:20-21 (NKJV)

Today, as we wait for Jesus, let us surrender to His transformation of our
lives as a citizen of Heaven.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
