The older I get the more I realize, I have put things away so I won’t lose them only to forget where I put them. I actually have a lot of hidden things now. There is one important hidden thing that provides me much comfort – the Word of God. You see, when you hide His Word in your heart through memory, no one can take it away from you and you can draw upon it at any time of need for comfort, reassurance and HOPE.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11 (KJV)
Today, hide God’s Word in your heart and you will have it always. It will be there when you need it most.
