Morning Thoughts – Caution

Caution

(Fourth in a series)

“On Guard” is a term used in fencing to let the opponent know you are
about to begin using the sword and they should be watching carefully.
Jesus said, “be on your guard, watch and pray because we do not know
when He will return.” Peter said, “be on your guard so you do not be
carried away by error and wicked persons. . .” So, are you on your guard
for the deception and the craftiness of the enemy of our souls?

Jesus said, “But look to yourselves and be on your guard; I have told you
everything beforehand.” Mark 13:23 (AMP)

Jesus said, “Be on your guard [constantly alert], and watch and pray; for
you do not know when the time will come.” Mark 13:33 (AMP)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Peter said, “Let me warn you therefore, beloved,
that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you
be carried away by the error of lawlessness and wicked [persons and] fall from
your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind].”
2 Peter 3:17 (AMP)

Today and in the days ahead, be on your guard; get in the word of God and
know the signs of the end of the age.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
