Morning Thoughts – Doing Right

Doing Right

When born, we don’t know much about anything. Everything we
know is learned from birth. (I’m not discounting heredity here.)
I’m talking about walking, talking, and being taught how to treat
others. These are all taught to us by either, parents, teachers or
the influence of friends. At some point, a choice is made to either
treat others as we would like to be treated or to oppress, steal, kill
or destroy. Regardless of what you have chosen up to this point,
there is always a chance to do right.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Isaiah wrote, “Wash yourselves, make
yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My
eyes! Cease to do evil, Learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the
oppressed, and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead
for the widow.” Isaiah 1:16-17 (AMP)

Today, spend some time evaluating your life to see if changes need
to be made – allow God to lead you to make them.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
