In Everything

When you are in a situation that seemingly has no good answer, what
do you do? Do you thank God? Some would say “I’m not thanking God
for this.” The point of the situation is to give God thanks in everything
not for everything. In Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians, he encouraged
them to give God thanks in everything. It is not always easy; but it is
always comforting to do so. Because in giving God thanks in everything,
you will find a peace that passes all understanding. Remember there is
nothing that has happened to you today or will ever happen to you that
has not been filtered through the love of God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “In every thing give thanks: for this
is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

Today, regardless of your situation, give thanks.
