What Do You See?

What do you see when you look at people?  Do you see what they
look like and make judgments about their worth?  Fortunately for
all of us, God does not look on our outward appearance; but at our
hearts.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Samuel records, “But the Lord said to
Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have
rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at.
People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the
heart.”  1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)

Today, ask God to help you to see others as He sees them.
