Rear View Mirror

Cars have rear view mirrors so we can see what is behind us. In our lives, looking behind helps to prevent repeating failures; however, if we continually look back at our past failures, we become paralyzed and can’t move forward. The enemy of our souls would love to keep us focused on what is behind us. Don’t stay there!  God has so much more for you.  Look forward to the prize of His high calling. .

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV)

Today, stop focusing on your past and reach forth for those things in the future and press on.
