Requirements

Almost everything we do in life has some type of requirement – graduation from High School or College and work skills.  The requirements to graduate from High School or College indicate the necessary courses have been completed and you are ready to move on to the next phase of life.  Because we were made in the image of God, man has a spirit that will live forever somewhere. There is only one requirement to move from this life to heaven in the next life and that is believing in Jesus.  You see, the work has already been done for you.  Your only requirement is to believe.  The Amplified Bible expounds on that word believe as “trusting in, relying on and clinging to.”

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John records Jesus when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV)

Today, trust in, rely on, and cling to Jesus and He will see you through this life and welcome you into the next.
