Morning Thoughts – God Spoke

God Spoke

Many times I have wanted to hear from God – wanted some special
guidance in various situations. He did not write anything on my wall
as He did for King Belshazzar. He did not speak in a burning bush as
He did to Moses. But He did speak to me through the life of Jesus.
What a comfort to know that regardless of our circumstances, pain,
hurts and just life in general, God will speak to us through His Word.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the author of Hebrews wrote, “[ The Nature
of the Son ] Long ago God spoke to the fathers by the prophets at
different times and in different ways. In these last days, He has spoken
to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made
the universe through Him. Hebrews 1:1-2 (HCSB)

Today, if you need comfort, direction, help or relief, God still speaks
to you through His Word, Jesus.
