Morning Thoughts – Perception

Perception

Have you ever heard “perception is everything?” While we may
have good intentions, if those intentions are not conveyed through
our actions, then our good intentions don’t mean anything.
Gossiping and backbiting are not loving. When people see those
things in Christians, they are turned off and think we are no
different that the rest of the world. Paul said, “do not let your
good be spoken of as evil.” (Romans 14:16) For people to perceive
the love of God, we have to demonstrate that love to all. Regardless
of how they look, smell, dress or speak. It is God who changes
people not us. We have but one task – love and acceptance.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “just as He chose us in
Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy
and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to
adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good
pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which
He made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:4-6 (NKJV)

Today, Love like Jesus Loves with complete acceptance of those
who need His Love.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
