Morning Thoughts – Sufficient

Sufficient

Have you ever felt inadequate to do a task?  If you are breathing

most likely you have.   However, to be self sufficient implies you
don’t need anyone.  There is a school of thought in the world
called humanism, which reflects the ideology that people are good
in and of themselves.  I don’t know about you; but I could never be
good enough to be worthy of heaven.  I have far to many human
frailties.  I needed a Savior, who could rescue me from my sin and
make me sufficient in Him.

Paul said it this way, “And such confidence have we through Christ

to God-ward: not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account
anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God; who also
made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter,
but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (ASV)

Today, spend some time getting to know about the new covenant,

the spirit that gives life, and our God who makes us sufficient.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I do too.
