Morning Thoughts – Twinkling

Twinkling

How fast does your eye twinkle[blink]? Your eye blinks to keep them
moist and to keep dust from your eyes. Paul spoke of the twinkling of
an eye in reference to how quickly we will be changed at the coming of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. How quickly things will change! Like
the five virgins who were ready for the bridegroom. We must be ready
for we do not know when He will come.

Paul wrote, “And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also
bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and
blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit
incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we
shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:49 – 52 (KJV)

Today, In a moment in a twinkling of an eye, things could change – are you ready?
