Servants

Jesus first miracle was turning water into wine.  How did he do it? Who knew he did it? When Mary told Jesus, “They have no wine,” Jesus said to His mother “Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come.”  Mary told the servants to do what Jesus said. Just as God spoke the world into existence and it happened.  Jesus said to the servants to fill the water pots with water and the to take some to the governor of the feast. The governor had no knowledge as to what happened.  He only thought the best wine was save to the last of the feast.  But the servants knew!  Are you a servant? Do you long to know more of God and have an intimate sweet relationship with him? God wants to show you great and mighty things.  All it takes is a willing heart on our part and then the tenacity to fight for that time with God and His word each day.  That is right! It is a fight in the spiritual realm.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded, “Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,” John 2:7-9 (KJV)

Today, gird up your mind and fight for time to spend with God.  If you have never received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, ask Him to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins and you will receive His new life.
