Speaking vs. Doing

Speaking vs. Doing

Corrie Ten Boom’s book “The Hiding Place” was a story of love in action.  Her family demonstrated God’s love when hiding persecuted Jews in Nazi Germany.  When the war was over, one of the guards, who had badly treated many women in the prison in which Corrie’s sister died, came up to her after she had spoken about “forgiveness.”  Corrie said, when he extended his hand to her, she knew she must forgive him.  She wrote that she knew she could not forgive him in her own power; but that she must forgive him, so she said a quick prayer asking God to forgive him through her.  Is there someone you need to forgive?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Jeremiah wrote, “My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18 (NKJV)

Today, be willing to forgive and ask God to forgive through you.  It will transform your life.
