Morning Thoughts – Good Work

Good Work

Do you ever get weary? Do you ever feel as though your tasks are
meaningless? Well the good news is they are not. When you gave
your life to Jesus, He began to work in and through your life. While
there may be times you do not see the good, be encouraged that He
sees the end before the beginning.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul, in his letter to the Philippians wrote,
“All my prayers for you are full of praise to God! When I pray for you,
my heart is full of joy because of all your wonderful help in making
known the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it
until now. And I am sure that God who began the good work within
you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within
you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns.
Philippians 1:3-6 (TLB)

Today, may Jesus encourage you in your labors for Him. “And whatever
you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name
of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to
God the Father through Him..” Colossians 3:17 (AMP)
