No Excuse
When you stand before God, what will be your excuse as to why you never accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior? Will you say no one ever told me about Him? Will you say you didn’t understand? Or will you be an intellectual and say you could find no evidence that there is a God or that He ever existed? Sad to say but many are not looking for God; but, have determined there is no scientific evidence for God and consider Christians as weak and stupid for using a crutch like faith in Christ. Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians wrote, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” The Psalmist wrote, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.” (Psalm 19:1-3) There is no excuse.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Romans 1:20 (NIV)
Today, trust Christ and not the wisdom of man.
